This is a high-quality vintage piece from Emanuel Zoo, an Italian couture, highly respected designer active in the late 1970s and 1980s, with pieces even archived in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute. Designed and produced in Italy.
The gathered/pleated skirt below the yoke creates a "swing" silhouette, giving it movement and a classic midi-length drape. The waistband includes unique "slotted" or "looped" suede detailing, which is a signature touch of high-end vintage tailoring. Fully lined, side zipper with hook and eye closure. No assistant flaws.
European size 44 is usually a women’s 8 to 10 but as this is vintage, you’re going to want to pay attention to the measurements. I would say it fits more like a 4 to 6.
Approx measurements, 14” across the top of the waist, 17” across at the seam at the bottom of the yoke, 24” long down the front center.
